The solar desalination experimental platform includes a TRM-PD linear solar simulation transmitter, a solar pyranometer and several thermal sensors. The solar simulator is composed of a hernia lamp light source, heat dissipation fans and the corresponding control system, which can simulate sunlight to facilitate low-power solar experiments in the laboratory. It can be used to test PV modules and various other solar centered energy applications like solar desalination devices. After turned on for 1 minute, the radiation flux remains stable within ± 3%, and the flux can be adjusted between 200-1000 W/m2.
