The solid oxcide electrolysis cell (SOEC) testing system is composed of a gas supply system, a furnace, a direct current (DC) power source, and an electrolyzer, which is a product of H2-Bank Co., Ltd. The heart of this setup is the electrolyzer, which is configured as a stack comprised of three individual SOECs. During operation, the SOEC stack is carefully positioned within the furnace, which is regulated to maintain a consistent temperature of 800 degrees Celsius. Steam is directed towards the cathode of SOEC stack for the hydrogen production process. The platform is currently located in PolyU-Shenzhen Research Institude.
