The solid oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC) testing system comprises a gas supply system, a furnace, a direct current (DC) power source, and an electrolyzer manufactured by H2-Bank Co., Ltd. At the core of this system is the electrolyzer, configured as a stack consisting of three individual SOECs. During operation, the stack is precisely positioned within the furnace, which maintains a consistent temperature of 800 degrees Celsius. Steam is directed towards the cathode of the SOEC stack to facilitate the hydrogen production process. The system is currently housed at the PolyU-Shenzhen Research Institute.
